West Ham fans will have something to say about what Hull fans sung at Millwall
West Ham United fans would have enjoyed Monday evening with Tottenham keeping the relegation fight wide open with a 1-1 draw and Millwall failing to reach the play-off final.
After failing to beat Arsenal, survival chances looked grim for the Hammers. Spurs had the chance to go four points clear with just two games to go.
However, Leeds United handed Nuno Espirito Santo’s side a chance, with the gap of two points following Daniel Farke’s side securing a draw, not an insurmountable mountain to climb.
Although focus would have been on Tottenham’s match, rivals Millwall were also involved in a crucial playoff match against Hull.
The Lions failed to take their chance at securing top-flight survival, a crushing blow that West Ham fans would have loved. However, the Irons fanbase may also have something to take up with Hull supporters.

What did Hull City fans do against Millwall?
Heartbreak for Millwall was jubilation for West Ham fans who no doubt revelled in the sorrow of one of their biggest rivals against Hull City.
The away end was also in high spirits, mocking the Millwall support by remixing one of the London club’s most known songs.
| West Ham vs Millwall record | Total |
| West Ham wins | 19 |
| Draws | 19 |
| Millwall wins | 22 |
As the Tigers were leading at The Den, the away support began to sing: “No one hates you, no one cares,” a taunt at Millwall’s “No one likes us, we don’t care” chant.
However, while Hull’s taunt was in jest, there may not be much truth behind their claim, with the Hammers first in line to dispute it.
The intense rivalry between West Ham and Millwall is well documented. From popular culture representation in the 2004 film Green Street to the scenes that occurred during the 2009 Upton Park riot, it is evident that these two sides hate each other.
Furthermore, Millwall’s ticket allocation was cut in half based on police advice on this occasion due to the heated nature of this clash.
West Ham fans certainly hate Millwall and will wish no success upon the club, and likewise in reverse.
But this rivalry has not often been seen in action in modern history. In fact, West Ham have not played Millwall in 14 years.

West Ham could have chance to close head-to-head record vs Millwall
While the Hammers will not want to get relegated, with Millwall failing to reach the play-off final, they are confirmed to be part of the 2026-2027 Championship.
Over the next couple of weeks, the Irons could very well join them in the second tier.
As per the table further up the article, West Ham actually have a losing record against Millwall, and if relegation does arrive, they could have the chance to close that gap.
Three wins is the difference, so unless cup draws face these two outfits together, West Ham will be only able to close the gap to one.
But despite that possibility, the Irons fanbase would likely rather avoid the chance to face the Lions, as that would mean Premier League survival instead.
