West Ham face familiar scenario with David Moyes ahead of relegation deciding weekend
West Ham United need a favour from David Moyes on Sunday.
The Hammers’ defeat to Newcastle certainly felt like the final nail in the coffin, but they were handed a lifeline on Tuesday night with Tottenham falling to defeat against Chelsea.
It means that their relegation battle is set to go down to the final game of the season, albeit with them still relying on Tottenham to lose.
They face Everton, who had their European chances ended by Sunderland last time out, though given the staggered prize money in the Premier League, they still have plenty to play for.
West Ham need to beat Leeds to stand a chance at survival, though they will also have one eye on Moyes’ team.

David Moyes can save West Ham from relegation again
There’s no other way around it than to say that Moyes has been West Ham’s best manager for years, even if things weren’t always great on the pitch.
The Scotsman saved them from relegation and proceeded to win them a European trophy, which feels like a lifetime ago now.

His exit to Everton was perhaps necessary, though very few will have predicted the downfall since, and even fewer will have imagined that he could be the saviour again.
If his Everton side can beat Tottenham on Sunday, West Ham will need a win against Leeds to stay in the Premier League, which will be more than achievable.
Leeds injury doubts could hand boost to Irons
The Whites will be without several key players on Sunday, most notably Anton Stach and Noah Okafor.
Aside from Dominic Calvert-Lewin, the pair have easily been Leeds’ most important players, especially in attack.
With those two absent, West Ham should be confident of their chances of taking all three points, and if they get news of Everton taking the lead against Tottenham, the London Stadium will erupt.
