Taty Castellanos recalled in four Nuno changes – West Ham predicted XI vs Man City

Nuno Espirito Santo could bring Taty Castellanos back into the fold when West Ham United host Manchester City in Saturday’s Premier League clash.

The biggest injury news ahead of the weekend meeting is that Crysencio Summerville is unavailable and could be out until after the international break.

The former Leeds winger sustained a calf injury during West Ham’s FA Cup fifth-round win over Brentford on Monday.

However, the Hammers have the majority of their players fully fit to take on Pep Guardiola’s side, and they’ll feel confident of pulling off a huge shock.

West Ham’s match with Man City is set to have a significant impact at both ends of the table, and it’s only right that Castellanos returns to start up front.

Taty Castellanos returns in one of four changes

Castellanos has been a brilliant signing for West Ham since joining in the winter transfer window from Italian side Lazio.

While his goalscoring record might not be fantastic, his play on and off the ball has allowed Summerville and Jarrod Bowen to thrive out wide.

According to Sofascore, the Argentine has recorded 2.53 shots per 90 minutes in the Premier League, and it’s clear that he has been a huge threat to opposition defences.

If he does come back into the team, Pablo will play further back, meaning Mohamadou Kante will drop to the bench.

El Hadji Malick Diouf is expected to return in place of Oliver Scarles, while Kyle Walker-Peters should make way for Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

The final change will see Mads Hermansen take over from Alphonse Areola, despite the Frenchman’s impressive performance in the FA Cup.

Although the fans will be delighted to see Castellanos come back into the side, Diouf’s return is definitely more anticipated.

El Hadji Malick Diouf could cause Man City serious problems

That’s not to say that Scarles had a bad game against Brentford, but Diouf’s athleticism could prove to be key.

The Senegalese left-back, who joined the Hammers from Slavia Prague in the summer, has five assists in the Premier League this season, which is more than any other defender.

With 26 interceptions this season, Diouf has excelled in both halves of the pitch, and although it took him a while to showcase his maturity, he is still well above his years in how he conducts himself.

Against Man City, the 21-year-old is likely to come up against Savinho and Matheus Nunes on the right-hand side, and it’s safe to say he could trouble them.

Nunes isn’t a natural right-back, and not only is Diouf stronger than him, but he is also much faster.

Therefore, he is definitely primed to make a big impact at the London Stadium on Saturday.
