Pablo lets Nuno down again as Konstantinos Mavropanos shines – West Ham player ratings vs Manchester City
West Ham United secured a vital point in a 1-1 draw with Manchester City on Saturday evening.
The Hammers went behind to a 31st-minute Bernardo Silva effort that dinked over Mads Hermansen, but they were level minutes later.
Konstantinos Mavropanos got the equaliser, heading home after Gianluigi Donnarumma misjudged a corner to send the London Stadium into raptures.
West Ham desperately needed a result, and now find themselves outside of the relegation zone for the first time since 3 December.

Nuno let down by Pablo in West Ham draw
Pablo struggled in West Ham’s FA Cup win over Brentford last time out, but Nuno still put his faith in the Brazilian forward.
That was a bad decision as he had very little effect on proceedings in East London, in a vital game for the Hammers.
The 22-year-old failed to record a single shot and misplaced four of his 18 pass attempts, for a 78 per cent accuracy, per Sofascore.
He had just 24 touches in the contest but gave the ball away seven times and made four carries for a total distance of 22.2m.
He did not even show a willingness to defend, making two clearances and winning the only ground duel that he contested.

The Irons spent £20million on the former Gil Vicente man and so far, he has not had the required impact, and it does not look like they can rely on him to get them out of relegation danger.
Konstantinos Mavropanos brilliant as West Ham draw
Konstantinos Mavropanos was the standout player for the Hammers, as he put in an assured display at the back.
He scored the leveller, but it was not his attacking contributions that impressed anywhere near as much as what he did defensively.
He made 21 defensive contributions, with two tackles won of the three he attempted, four interceptions, 10 clearances, four blocks and two recoveries.
In terms of duels, he won all three that he tried on the ground and two of four that he contested in the air, in a dominant display.
He was willing to put his body on the line as he blocked a powerful Erling Haaland effort with his face in second-half stoppage time, which left him needing assessment from the medical staff
His form will be crucial if Nuno’s side are to survive, if he maintain this level, he could be the difference maker when it comes to survival.
