Nuno’s West Ham to-do list over international break, including finding Crysencio Summerville remedy
Nuno Espirito Santo has one final push after the international break to keep West Ham United in the Premier League.
West Ham have seven games left of the campaign to save their Premier League status, but find themselves in a handy position to do so.
Their recent upturn in form means that the Hammers are now just one point from safety, albeit with a far inferior goal difference to Tottenham.
Survival is on the cards for West Ham, but Nuno has a handful of things he must do at the London Stadium over the international break to ensure they are best placed to achieve it.

Crysencio Summerville overreliance will hurt West Ham
Typically, it has been Jarrod Bowen that West Ham have looked towards to drag them out of the dirt, but this season, Summerville has been one of the standout players.
The Dutchman has five goals and one assist in the Premier League, but it is his all-round game which has been crucial to the Irons’ revival.
| West Ham 25-26 record with Summerville | West Ham 25-26 record without Summerville |
| W10, D5, L12 | W0, D3, L5 |
However, with Summerville still injured and an official return date yet to be communicated, West Ham need to find a way to win without him.
And that has proved to be quite a challenge, with the Hammers winless in the games where the winger has not been present.
Nuno needs to get more from Soungoutou Magassa
Going back to the start of the campaign, Soungoutou Magassa looked like a game, but his impact since has diminished.
Though that is perhaps to be expected given the lack of gametime he has had since the turn of the year in the Premier League.
The Frenchman has started just three times in the league since the end of December, with Nuno very rarely rotating his midfield options.
Whether it be as a substitute or as a starting midfielder, Nuno needs to get more from him and ensure that he is being utilised to his full potential.
Callum Wilson has shown more than Taty Castellanos
Taty Castellanos looked to have hit the ground running with a goal on only his second start for the Hammers, but he has found the net just once since then.
It leaves him with two goals from 11 Premier League appearances, compared to the five that Callum Wilson has managed in his 10 starts this season.
The Englishman is far more suited to the Hammers’ current predicament, and Nuno needs to work on his system to ensure that Wilson is the one leading the forward line ahead of the final few games.
