Nuno Espirito Santo could relegate West Ham with Taty Castellanos call vs Leeds

Nuno Espirito Santo has a big call to make in regard to his West Ham United team selection this weekend.

A season full of misery all comes down to one final game at the London Stadium as the Hammers take on Leeds United.

Defeat to Newcastle felt like the end for West Ham, but with Tottenham having suffered an identical fate against Chelsea, they lived to fight another day.

Anything less than a win against the Whites will not be enough, and even then, they will be relying on another Tottenham defeat.

But West Ham must do their job first, and the decision made on Castellanos could end up playing a crucial role.

Taty Castellanos decision must be reversed

Nuno opted to start Callum Wilson against Newcastle, which is what the fans have been asking for, and it failed miserably.

The Magpies took a 3-0 lead, before that deficit was reduced to two by Castellanos, who scored one of the goals of the season on a half-volley.

However, this weekend, the same mistake cannot be made.

Nuno simply has to utilise Castellanos from the start against the Whites, especially given his knack for coming up with something from nothing.

The Argentine will be full of confidence after his display from the bench in the North East, and West Ham must use that to their advantage.

Callum Wilson still has role to play

Castellanos should start, but Nuno cannot afford to wait to bring Wilson on if things are not going their way.

And not as a direct replacement either.

West Ham simply have nothing to lose on Sunday, especially given the fact that anything less than a win will relegate them.

It is very much a case of all or nothing for the Hammers, and Nuno must replicate that with his decisions throughout the day, or else they will certainly pay a very expensive price.
