Jarrod Bowen has a strong record of goal contributions against Aston Villa ahead of West Ham United’s visit to Villa Park on Sunday.

West Ham have a feel-good factor about them at the moment, as despite their ongoing relegation battle, Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are starting to get results.

A massive 1-1 draw at home to Man City last time out shows that this Hammers side have it in them to take points off the very top teams in the Premier League this season, and will fill them with confidence moving forward.

An FA Cup win on penalties over Brentford and a 1-0 away victory over Fulham means it’s now three games unbeaten for the Irons, as they look to extend that to four on Sunday.

West Ham are away to Aston Villa this weekend, as Nuno’s men look to utilise their good run of form against an Unai Emery-led Villa team that haven’t won any of their last four league games.

Bowen is likely to leave West Ham if they’re relegated to the Championship for next season, with Hammers fans certainly enjoying him whilst he’s still at the London Stadium.

Indeed, the Irons skipper has been brilliant once again this season, with eight goals and six assists from 30 league outings marking a fantastic return given his sides’ struggles.

However, across those 10 encounters, Bowen has bagged four goals and provided one assist, meaning he’s averaging a direct goal contribution in 50 per cent of the games he plays against the West Midlands outfit.

That’s an excellent average to post, but unfortunately for West Ham, it may also mean that they won’t be getting a goal contribution from Bowen this time around.

This is because Bowen did indeed score in this season’s reverse fixture, in which the Hammers lost 3-2 at the London Stadium.

Although, this goal was his only goal contribution from his last three games against Villa, meaning that he could actually be due another on Sunday if he is to keep his 50 per cent ratio going.

Given the form he’s in at the moment, West Ham will definitely be confident he can provide the goods at Villa Park.
