David Moyes wants to become West Ham hero once again as relegation admission made

David Moyes has admitted that he wishes to help his former side, West Ham United, stay up in any way he can ahead of Everton’s game against Tottenham.

The Hammers face off against Leeds United at the London Stadium this Sunday, and the game will commence at the same time as their relegation rivals, Spurs.

Tottenham host Moyes’ Everton, but the Toffees boss has suggested that his side won’t be going there to be a pushover.

The Blues still have a smidge of an outside chance of qualifying for Europe, though it looks unlikely, but a win to end the season is wanted.

As for Nuno Espirito Santo‘s side, a win for West Ham could see them stay in the Premier League, so long as Moyes downs Tottenham.

This is what David Moyes has said about West Ham

Moyes was a hero for winning the Europa Conference League with West Ham, and his exit from the London Stadium is controversial to this day

Some fans wanted better football on the eye to watch, and David Sullivan has since attempted to hire foreign managers, who have all failed in replacing the Scotsman.

No matter what Nuno’s side needs to win, but if they do, everything will be on Moyes and his team.

While speaking in his pre-match press conference for Everton, the Toffees boss admitted that he hopes to help the Irons out this weekend.

Moyes said: “I would love to help keep West Ham in the league if I can do.”

Some fans may still not like Moyes; however, if he does manage to beat Spurs away from home, he would be an even more welcome figure in E20.

What is Everton’s away record?

Spurs’ home record is arguably what has got them into a tussle at the bottom with West Ham, but Roberto De Zerbi is looking to change that.

Everton will face the Lilywhites at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and the Hammers will have their notifications on in the stands for what is happening over at N17.

Everton’s away record this season:

Everton have the joint-third best away record in the Premier League, which may give West Ham confidence, considering Spurs have the joint-worst home record in the division.

It will be a dramatic day no matter what, but the situation may give Moyes that extra spark to try to pull off a victory for Everton, and for West Ham.
