Axel Disasi bids farewell to West Ham in emotional social media post after relegation
Axel Disasi has thanked West Ham United and their fans for this season in an emotional post to social media following the Hammers’ relegation from the Premier League.
The Irons had their relegation to the Championship confirmed on Sunday, with the need for several sales now crucial.
It’s said that David Sullivan may need to raise as much as £150million in player sales just to balance the books at the London Stadium ahead of a first season in the second tier in 14 years.
However, there was once a reality where Nuno Espirito Santo kept his side up, and in doing that, West Ham could have signed Disasi permanently.
The Hammers signed the Frenchman in the January transfer window on loan, but he now appears to be the next player to have said goodbye to West Ham fans.

Axel Disasi wishes West Ham the best moving forward
West Ham dreamt of signing Disasi permanently this summer, as he looks destined to leave parent club Chelsea, regardless of his form in E20.
The 28-year-old was an instant hit after signing in January, and not one Hammers fan would say that relegation is down to him.

The former Aston Villa loanee looked visibly upset after West Ham’s relegation was confirmed, and it’s clear to see why, due to his quickly created connection with the Hammers and their fans.
On Wednesday, Disasi said his emotional thanks and goodbye to West Ham on his Instagram, with him now set to return to Chelsea, following the expiration of his loan contract.

Perhaps if the stars align in the future, Disasi could return to the Irons, should they get back to the Premier League at the first time of asking.
Where could Disasi go next?
Disasi’s performances had West Ham wondering why the centre-back was out of favour at Stamford Bridge.
He displayed great leadership qualitiesand almost averaged a clean sheet every other game in the league for the Irons.
He’s done himself the world of good in regard to his own performances, and though he’s likely to leave Chelsea this summer, a move to another Premier League club is not out of the question.
Wherever he chooses to go, West Ham fans will return the thanks and best wishes, that’s for sure.
