Crysencio Summerville teases West Ham fans as new 10-word message sent after fitness update
Crysencio Summerville has left West Ham United supporters hoping for his inclusion against Wolves, after the winger sent a new message on Instagram this Wednesday.
Nuno Espirito Santo offered an update on the Dutchman in his pre-match press conference this week, admitting he has made good progress.
The attacker has been out since the FA Cup win against Brentford at the start of March, and is sorely needed for the Premier League run-in.
Summerville was in top form before sustaining his calf issue, and may have been inducted into the Netherlands squad over the international break, if it had never happened.
Nuno is hopeful of Summerville’s return, and the latter’s message on his Instagram story will have supporters praying for him to be fit for Wolves.

What has Crysencio Summerville said?
Summerville looks like he could be key for West Ham in their push for Premier League survival, with the likes of Jarrod Bowen still out of form.
The former Leeds United star has taken his time to settle in at the London Stadium, but just as he started to do so, injury struck him.

Taking to his Instagram story, the 24-year-old issued a 10-word message to supporters ahead of the remaining seven league games, as captured by an X user.
Summerville wrote: “One team, one dream, one mission. Come on you Irons.”
It’s almost as if the forward is saying it like he will be a part of the team to face Rob Edwards’ side.
Nuno says that Summerville is improving, but didn’t suggest that he could be involved in the games against relegation-bound Wolves.
This is what Nuno should do depending on late Summerville tests
If Summerville did have a chance of being in the squad to face Wolves, he would likely undergo some last-minute tests to deem him fit or not.
Even if the winger does pass the tests, there’s no way that Nuno should start him, and he probably wouldn’t. However, that would mean his inclusion on the bench, which would also need to be closely monitored.

As highlighted by the Sofascore graphic above, Summerville has the ability to save West Ham from relegation.
That means that while he would clearly be useful against Wolves, they are a bottom-of-the-league side, and he should not be risked if there’s still a chance of his injury recurring.
Time will tell, but either way, the Hammers’ star man is close to coming back.
