Crysencio Summerville injury latest as seven players could miss West Ham vs Wolves
Crysencio Summerville is in contention to return for West Ham United in Friday night’s Premier League clash with Wolves.
The Dutchman has missed West Ham’s last three matches due to a calf injury sustained in the FA Cup win over Brentford exactly a month ago.
Summerville’s absence has been felt, but it may well be that he is back on the field when bottom side Wolves visit the London Stadium.
As many as seven players across both teams combined could miss out, with Nuno Espirito Santo and Rob Edwards providing team news updates ahead of the clash.
West Ham know only a win will do against Wolves if they are to give their Premier League survival hopes a shot in the arm.

Having Summerville – West Ham’s most important player alongside Jarrod Bowen – available against Wolves would be a massive boost for the Hammers.
Speaking to reporters at his pre-match press conference on Wednesday, Nuno confirmed Summerville “is improving” and will be checked ahead of the game.

The 24-year-old will not be risked, but West Ham will do everything they can to ensure he is available for the match.
Aside from Summerville, Callum Wilson and Jean-Clair Todibo will undergo late fitness tests, while Lukasz Fabianski is a confirmed absentee.
Nuno said he is positive Summerville, Wilson and Todibo will be available for selection.
Summerville teased on social media that he should return for West Ham.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka is also back, meanwhile, after missing the loss to Leeds United in the FA Cup due to arriving back late from DR Congo duty.

Konstantinos Mavropanos and Mads Hermansen will also be part of the matchday squad after missing out against Leeds.
Wolves have injury concerns of their own vs West Ham
West Ham have four players either confirmed out or doubtful, while Wolves have a question mark over Matt Doherty.
The former Tottenham defender is being assessed due to a niggle, but he is unlikely to make it in time for the clash in East London.
Sam Johnstone and Enso Gonzalez are definitely out for the visitors, who have improved under Edwards but are still destined for the drop.

Wolves enter the contest 13 points from safety, with their relegation set to be confirmed in the coming weeks.
As for West Ham, they know a win on Friday would lift them above Tottenham and out of the relegation zone, even if only temporarily.
