West Ham Women comfortably avoid relegation

With just one team set to be relegated from the WSL, West Ham have comfortably avoided the drop with games to spare.

West Ham are just four points ahead of Aston Villa in 11th, and with the two sides set to face each other, a defeat could have closed this gap.

However, Crystal Palace are bottom, with just nine points from 19 games, meaning that West Ham should easily finish above them no matter what happens in the final matches.

Li has been an impressive performer this season, but her national team exploits with China have meant she had to say farewell to East London before the campaign drew to a close.
