Every West Ham player on international duty – Who they’re playing and how to watch

West Ham have endured a miserable start to the season as they sit 19th in the Premier League.

Graham Potter was sacked in September, and Nuno Espirito Santo has been hired to try and turn things around for the Hammers.

As a result, the number of West Ham players that will head out on international duty has reduced from 10 to eight, with Niclas Fullkrug dropping out of the Germany squad.

West Ham Zone brings you a detailed guide of all eight West Ham players who will feature for their country over the international break.

Jarrod Bowen receives another England call-up, Lucas Paqueta set for Brazil friendlies

Jarrod Bowen has made 17 caps for England and scored his only goal for his country in England’s 5-0 win over Ireland in March.

Bowen has been sharp for West Ham this season, as the club captain will hope to gain some minutes in England’s friendly against Wales on 9 October, and their World Cup qualifier against Latvia on 14 October.

Mads Hermansen and Konstantinos Mavropanos may face off against each other when Denmark play host to Greece on 12 October.

However, it seems unlikely they will meet on the pitch, as Hermansen is yet to make an appearance for Denmark, while Mavropanos has 38 caps for Greece.

Denmark also takes on Belarus on 9 October, while Greece face Scotland on the same day.

Lucas Paqueta has shone for Brazil over the last few years, and his country has already qualified for the 2026 World Cup.

Brazil travel to Asia for friendlies against South Korea on 10 October, and Japan on 14 October.

El Hadji Malick Diouf shone for Senegal in their 3-1 win over England in June.

Diouf will look to help Senegal secure their qualification to another World Cup with wins over South Sudan on 10 October and Mauritania on 14 October.

The DR Congo are in the same group as Senegal and sit two points behind them with two games to go.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka will be hoping his Senegal drop points as he joins up with the DR Congo squad to play against Togo on 10 October, and Sudan on 14 October.

The reliable Tomas Soucek will resume his role in the Czech Republic’s midfield, with his country travelling to Croatia on October 9 and the Faroe Islands on October 12.

Lastly, West Ham’s young striker Callum Marshall has been called up to the Northern Ireland squad, with the 20-year-old still searching for his first international goal.

Marshall has made one appearance off the bench for the Hammers this season due to his impressive form for the West Ham Academy.

Northern Ireland face huge home ties against Slovakia on 10 October, and Germany on 13 October.

With all eight of these players in action, some of these matches will be broadcast in the United Kingdom.
