Why West Ham have been accused of 'playing dirty' as Crysencio Summerville final fee emerges
West Ham United have not made any friends when it has come to the sale of Crysencio Summerville.
The Netherlands international is finally set to depart the London Stadium after Al-Hilal hijacked Roma's deal.
Roma appeared in prime position to land Summerville, but it emerged on Tuesday that big-spending Al-Hilal tabled a bigger bid.
It seems the final fee will now be slightly lower than that, but it is still Al-Hilal who have won the race for the Dutch winger's signature.
And it is fair to say that has not gone down well over at Roma.

Summerville was always going to be leaving West Ham this summer following relegation from the Premier League.
The question is who he would be joining, with numerous clubs - including Aston Villa, Manchester United and others in the Premier League - showing an interest.
The Athletic's David Ornstein shared a fresh update via X on Tuesday evening as he reported the final package could be worth £60m.
That is made up of £55m guaranteed, plus £5m in total bonuses.
Fellow journalist Luca Cerchione, who reports for OcwSport.com and has been covering the saga extensively for his 35,000 followers on X, also shared an update on Tuesday.
Cerchione stated that West Ham "played dirty with Roma", who relaunched another bid earlier in the day worth an additional £2m to the £42m already offered.
However, West Ham were negotiating with Al-Hilal at the same time - seemingly unbeknown to Roma - and accepted the Saudi club's bid instead.
West Ham's tactics have not gone down well, but the Hammers will not care at all.

Summerville's potential £60m exit, plus Mateus Fernandes joining Tottenham for £85m, means £145m has now been raised since relegation.
Jarrod Bowen is staying at West Ham, but that is not to say one or two big-money sales are still not on the cards - albeit not as big as these other two.
The Hammers brought in around £130m in the summer of 2023, most of that made up from Declan Rice's sale to Arsenal.
Given United are now a Championship club, it is a remarkable piece of double business and ensures any talk of financial difficulty can be pushed aside.
