West Ham could now land a surprise move for Kim Min-su.

The Hammers are in the market for new attacking options and have been linked with plenty of names.

There is frustration emerging from the London Stadium as Nuno Espirito Santo is yet to seal any deals.

A need for fresh faces is apparent after relegation with a lengthy Championship season lying in wait.

It looks as if the Irons are going down different avenues in the hopes of getting some business done.

Min-su has now emerged as a target as a move from Girona could be on the cards this summer.

Kim Min-su on growing West Ham left-wing shortlist

There is a growing need for new wide options in East London as potential exits come into view.

That is becoming more necessary on the left-hand side as Crysencio Summerville looks increasingly likely to leave.

That should spark the claret and blue outfit into life and it seems that Min-su could be an option to replace the Dutchman.

Girona journalist D.C.C reported on Tuesday that the 20-year-old winger has "caught the attention" of the Irons.

The South Korean is on their shortlist this summer as they look to add to their left-wing options.

Min-su would certainly add to that, although talks haven't got underway at this stage.

He may be an unknown quantity to many, but he is clearly highly-rated in Spain.

What has been said about West Ham target Min-su?

The London Stadium faithful wouldn't be blamed for not knowing much about the Korean forward.

He spent last season on loan with Andorra in LaLiga2 and contributed to 10 goals in just 27 starts.

That was his first move away from Girona, where he had previously been described as one of their "best academy talents" by Catalan radio station Cadena Ser, as per MK.

That sort of positive review has been echoed by Girona boss Michel who has "high expectations" for Min-su.

He also picked out his shooting, ability on the ball and one-on-one ability which make him a threat down the flank.

All that will certainly wet the appetite at West Ham as they could make a move happen for the Girona talent this summer.
