Why West Ham are determined to sign Mikel Gogorza as new offer ready

West Ham are refusing to give up on their push for FC Midtjylland winger Mikel Gogorza.

The Hammers have been looking to add to their forward line, with a move for Edvin Austbo nearing completion.

Austbo was spotted on his way to London to formalise his move a couple of days ago.

However, the Irons are not stopping there in that department, with Gogorza clearly a player highly-rated in E20.

What is the latest on West Ham's interest in Mikel Gogorza?

Gogorza is a new name on West Ham's radar over the last few days.

Reports from the Athletic shared that West Ham had a bid rejected for Gogorza as they sought attacking reinforcements.

That was said to be a £12million offer.

However, journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has now shared that the Hammers have actually seen two offers rebuffed by the Danish side.

Additionally, the report states that West Ham are "very determined" to sign Gogorza this window, and are now preparing a third offer for the winger.

If West Ham do want to sign Gogorza as much as it is seemingly stated, they will need to move fairly quick.

As teams in the Serie A are also keeping track with Gogorza's future "one to keep an eye on" in the final days and hours of the window.

What would West Ham get with Gogorza?

Nuno Espirito Santo would be getting a winger with a lot of potential this summer should West Ham sign Gogorza.

And the words of FC Midtjylland's sporting director Peter Sand offer a better insight into the player.

Back in 2025, when Gogorza signed a new contract with Midtylland, Sand stated: "He has some extreme qualities in terms of his ability to challenge one-on-one, and we have seen in the academy that he has scored a lot of goals."
