What we know as West Ham hold internal talks for new Troy Parrott bid, another option in contention

West Ham United are still pushing hard to try and sign AZ Almaark striker Troy Parrott this summer.

The Hammers are finally starting to make moves in the transfer window after what had been a dispiriting summer so far.

Relegation from the Premier League meant that exits were always going to be inevitable from the London Stadium.

Mateus Fernandes and Crysencio Summerville both departed, before Freddie Potts was sold to Club Brugge.

More players could still leave, but Joel Veltman and Manor Solomon have now signed to get things kicked off on incomings.

Parrott was been a target of West Ham's throughout the summer, too, and things could be about to move forward again.

What's the latest with West Ham and Troy Parrott?

Reports in the Netherlands on Monday suggested Parrott has agreed to join West Ham.

However, as yet the Hammers have been unable to agree a fee with the Eredivisie side, and the Mirror has suggested that they could want as much as £25million.

West Ham are reported to have already had one bid rejected in their attempt to bring Parrott, who previously played for Tottenham Hotspur, back to London.

ExWhuEmployee has now told the West Ham Way that the Hammers are holding internal talks about their next move for Parrott.

He said Alkmaar have resigned themselves to the fact Parrott will be leaving during the transfer window.

An agreement is not yet thought to be close, but West Ham are keen to get a deal done and want an agreement to be reached for Parrott, who was once called "outstanding" by former Czech Republic coach Miroslav Koubeck.

But Parrott is not the only striker on the radar right now.

What's the deal with West Ham's pursuit of Wilson Isidor?

West Ham have also been linked with Sunderland striker Wilson Isidor throughout the transfer window.

The Black Cats at one stage were said to be reluctant to sell, especially given they have a Europa League campaign to think about this term.

However, there has been some suggestions that the 25-year-old might be allowed to leave this summer afterall.

And ExWhuEmployee told West Ham Way that Isidor is still very much in contention for the Hammers right now.
