West Ham’s next two signings after Taty Castellanos revealed after arrival at Rush Green
West Ham have officially announced the signing of Taty Castellanos from Lazio on Monday.
Castellanos arrived at Rush Green in the early hours of Monday, as the Hammers have now finally confirmed the Argentine’s arrival for a reported fee of £26million.
West Ham announced the arrival of Pablo from Gil Vicente last week, and Nuno Espirito Santo now finds himself with two new striker options after a dramatic few days.
Nuno is still under a great deal of pressure at West Ham, with David Sullivan and Co. assessing their options on who could replace the Portuguese head coach following poor results.
Regardless, the Hammers won’t stop after the acquisition of Castellanos and further recruits may soon arrive at E20.
West Ham to close in on Adama Traore deal
If Nuno is going to keep West Ham up, then it’s clear to see that attacking options are needed at the London Stadium.
West Ham have been linked with a move to sign Adama Traore on a permanent deal from Fulham, as the former Wolves star may be keen on reuniting with Nuno.
Though his form has declined in recent seasons, Traore still possesses an unmatched quality of speed and strength that would surely bolster the Irons’ threat on the attack.
- Traore grabbed 17 goal contributions for Wolves during the 2019-20 season
- He has only started once for Fulham in the Premier League this campaign
- Traore has four goals in 77 games for the Cottagers
Though the Spaniard looks like the most realistic signing for the Hammers to make next, another star could follow him soon after.

West Ham need to pull Charlie Cresswell deal off
Max Kilman is the usual man to blame for West Ham’s defensive mistakes, but it’s also glaringly obvious that other centre-backs have failed to perform this season.
New centre-halves are needed this month, just as well as forwards, as one name that has been mentioned is Charlie Cresswell.
The Toulouse defender has started in all 17 of the French outfit’s matches in Ligue 1 this season, and alongside displaying capabilities of clean sheets, Cresswell has proven himself to be a threat from set-pieces too.
West Ham have yet to enter talks with Cresswell, but the prospect of Premier League football is said to interest the former Leeds United man.
Some would argue that defenders are needed more than attackers for West Ham, which makes the potential arrival of the 23-year-old seem crucial.
