West Ham want Amine Adli, Leverkusen ready to agree £23m transfer
West Ham United are interested in signing Amine Adli this summer.
Adli, 25, is coming off an injury-hit 2024/25 campaign, which saw Bayer Leverkusen surrender the Bundesliga title to Bayern Munich.
West Ham had a poor campaign themselves last time out, finishing 14th after a major summer spending spree.
The Hammers need attacking reinforcements after the departure of Mohammed Kudus to Tottenham Hotspur for £55million.

Adli keen on Premier League move
West Ham have received a boost in their attempts to secure the Moroccan international’s services.
Julien Laurens (26 July) has reported that Adli is keen on a move to England this summer after four seasons in Germany.
The Hammers are facing competition from Wolverhampton Wanderers to secure the midfielder’s signature.
Leverkusen value Adli at £23m this summer, who are amid a mass exodus following exits from Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong and Jonathan Tah.
Adli will bring much needed creativity to West Ham if he can reach his potential
The departure of Kudus has left a creative hole in the middle of the West Ham team, which has been seen in the Ghanaian’s first two Spurs appearances.
Adli has the potential to fill that gap, but he would need to rediscover his form from Leverkusen’s invincible season.
Season | Appearances | Goals | Assists |
2023/24 | 42 | 10 | 12 |
2024/25 | 28 | 2 | 2 |
The midfielder registered 22 goal contributions across all competitions in 2023/24, whilst playing in a back-up role to Wirtz.
West Ham saw only Jarrod Bowen register double-digit goals last season, with both Kudus and Lucas Paqueta struggling in a year of instability.
A move to the London Stadium would provide guaranteed game time with the Ghanaian gone and Paqueta looking likely to leave as well, which could see the Moroccan thrive in England.
