West Ham United winger Nikola Vlasic is ‘very close’ to joining Torino as final details being ironed out
West Ham are “very close” to concluding a deal to sell winger Nikola Vlasic to Torino, according to TuttoMercato.
The Italian news outlet reported on 6 August that the Hammers just need to iron out the final details of the transfer with the Serie A club to allow the Croatian to leave the London Stadium.
The two sides have been in talks over a potential deal throughout most of the summer as Torino are keen to sign the 25-year-old on a permanent basis after he spent last season on at the club.

Extra cash
A deal to take Vlasic to Torino will be welcome at West Ham as they look to add more funds to the transfer budget to sign a number of players this summer.
There had been an option in the winger’s loan deal that would’ve allowed the Italian side to sign him for £11.3million, but the deadline has now expired on that agreement and they have been looking to pay about £8million.
But the Hammers have been firm that they want to recoup more of the £25.7million they paid CSKA Moscow for him two years ago, so it’s likely a compromise will have to be reached to get the deal over the line.

The Croatian impressed during his loan spell at Torino last season, scoring five goals and laying on eight assists in his 37 appearances.
It feels like he never really got too much of a chance to show what he could really do with us, but it seems like it’s best for everyone that he moves on as soon as possible and we can look to spend the money on someone else.
In other West Ham news, the Hammers have seen an offer turned down for a Premier League midfielder.
