West Ham United want two defenders as update emerges on Wolves ace Max Kilman

West Ham are ideally looking at signing two defenders before Julen Lopetegui begins his pre-season training, according to the Times.

The newspaper reported via its online edition on 2 June that Wolves defender Max Kilman is somebody on the Spaniard’s radar.

Lopetegui worked with the 27-year-old during his six-month stint at Molineux and is keen on a reunion.

Max Kilman would be a good signing for West Ham this summer

The Hammers could greatly benefit from signing Max Kilman this summer due to his proven defensive capabilities and the potential he brings to the team.

Kilman, the Wolves captain, has shown impressive form, being a consistent performer in the Premier League and a key figure in defence.

His leadership qualities could significantly enhance the team’s cohesion and spirit.

His ability to clear the ball and win possessions in the defensive third are aspects of his game that the Hammers fans will love.

In addition, the Englishman’s versatility of playing in both a back three and a back four system aligns with West Ham’s tactical approach, providing flexibility in the team’s defensive setup.
