West Ham United want to sign Liam Brazier for £750,000, he’s been dubbed the next Jack Grealish
West Ham are one of a host of Premier League clubs that want to sign Port Vale sensation Liam Brazier, according to The Sun.
The newspaper reported on its website on Thursday (28 December) that the League One side are desperate to sign the 16-year-old up to a professional contract, but that won’t be possible until he turns 17.
It added that the Valiants would then look for a fee in the region of £750,000 to sell the attacking midfielder, who has been compared to a young Jack Grealish.

Plenty of interest
It could be a difficult challenge for West Ham to get a deal over the line for Brazier following the increased interest in signing him as the January transfer window approaches.
The Sun claims a number of Premier League clubs and sides across Europe are tracking the teenager after his impressive form for Port Vale’s youth teams.
He has also made three appearances for the senior side in the EFL Trophy this season as he looks to gain more first-team experience.

With the attacking midfielder being dubbed as potentially the next Grealish, the £750,000 fee that is being reported could prove to be a bargain.
But he could potentially be put off by the fact that there hasn’t been a great pathway created to the first team for youngsters at the London Stadium in recent years.
In other West Ham news, Dean Saunders has mentioned the Hammers as he urged a Premier League player to force a move in January.
