West Ham United want Tammy Abraham transfer more than Tottenham in new twist
West Ham United are showing a stronger interest in Roma striker Tammy Abraham than Tottenham, according to La Gazzetta Dello Sport.
The Englishman is attracting interest from the Premier League with Everton and Aston Villa showing interest in him.
The Italian newspaper have reported (13 June, page 31) that the striker’s “fate seems to be practically written” for a return to England.
With Roma interested in signing Matias Soule from Juventus, “there is no longer great confidence in Abraham” in Italy.
A move to West Ham may prove to be possible this summer if the Giallorossi do sign the Argentine this summer.
West Ham interested in Tammy Abraham
The Hammers have been in desperate need of a consistent goalscorer for many years but have failed to find one in the transfer market.
Sebastien Haller and Gianluca Scamacca have both gone on to feature in a Champions and Europa League final respectively after leaving the London Stadium.
They have both shown their goalscoring abilities on the biggest stages despite never being able to do it in Claret and Blue.
Julen Lopetegui will be keen to find a striker this summer to add to his squad ahead of his first season in charge of the Hammers.
Abraham may prove to be that man after a stint in Serie A with Roma who he joined from Chelsea back in 2021.

The Englishman has had a positive time in Serie A minus a very frustrating long-term injury that hampered him in the most recent season.
With him potentially available on a cut-price fee, he could prove to be a very useful addition to the Hammers’ squad this summer.
