West Ham United want £11.1m to let Nikola Vlasic leave, Torino plot £8.5m offer
West Ham United have told Torino they want £11.1m to allow him to leave this summer, with the Serie A club plotting a bid to lower the fee.
The Hammers allowed Vlasic to leave the club on loan last summer after a terrible debut campaign at the London Stadium, with a clause in the contract allowing them to turn the move permanent for €14m (£12.3m).
However Torino want a discount on the deal and are preparing an offer to take the cost below £8.5m with add-ons after weeks of talks, but West Ham have made it clear what price they will accept according to Tuttosport (26 June).

The report claims that Torino are set to bid £7.7m plus £850,000 in bonuses, which won’t be enough to convince West Ham to sell the Croatian international.
Sell
Vlasic has quite clearly got absolutely no future at West Ham this season and beyond the transfer window if he is still at the club then it is us who will be suffering.
When it comes to winger options we already currently have Said Benrahma, Jarrod Bowen, Pablo Fornals and Maxwel Cornet while the club are also looking to sign another attacking option.

Vlasic was a big-money signing but completely struggled to make any sort of impact in his only season at the club, so it was no surprise when he was allowed to leave.
Keeping him around is pointless and we’ve already accepted that we’re going to make a loss on whatever we’re able to get for him, so a few extra million pound isn’t worth potentially getting stuck with him.
At this point it’s best just to sell him and get what we can before completely forgetting about his existence, so that we can move on from the situation and use the funds to improve the squad.
In other West Ham news, club “intensively” work to sign six-cap international on a free transfer this summer.
