West Ham United waiting in line to sign Napoli ace Piotr Zielinski, summer transfer on cards
West Ham are waiting in line to sign Napoli star Piotr Zielinski, whose contract expires next summer, according to Corriere dello Sport.
The publication reported in its print edition on Saturday (Page 2/3, 4 November) that Liverpool and Inter Milan are also eyeing the midfielder.
The 29-year-old has made 14 appearances in all competitions this season, registering three goals and three assists so far.

Zielinski joined Napoli from Udinese in 2016 and has made almost 350 appearances for the club. The midfielder is also a Poland veteran, having made 83 appearances for his country.

Summer battle incoming?
Given his star displays in recent years for the Italian giants, Napoli will perhaps be keen to tie down the player to a new deal.
But the longer the current situation goes on, the more likely it is that Zielinski will leave the Serie A club next summer. If that is the case, the Hammers would be foolish not to try and bring the midfielder to the London Stadium.
But any transfer pursuit will not be straightforward, with the club’s Premier League rivals Liverpool also reportedly interested in his signature.
But the English duo may find it hard to convince the midfielder to leave Italy after such a long time, with Serie A giants Inter also seemingly keen to snap him up for free next summer.
Hammers boss David Moyes did a superb job in replacing Declan Rice when he left for Arsenal in the most recent summer transfer window, but perhaps he will still want a new face in after the arrivals of Edson Alvarez and James Ward-Prowse.
In other West Ham news, Hammers scouts are in action already with a new South American transfer on the cards in January.
