West Ham United transfer update emerges already after £32m development
West Ham United have already committed millions to Jean-Clair Todibo, which may affect their finances for the upcoming transfer window.
The Hammers signed the centre-back on loan from OGC Nice last summer, and the deal includes an obligation to buy him.
Todibo struggled initially at the London Stadium as Julen Lopetegui was unable to bring the best out of the squad at his disposal.
The 25-year-old seems to have turned the page at the Irons, though, starting in the 1-0 win over Arsenal at the Emirates on 22 February.

Todibo transfer fee to affect West Ham United finances
A London Stadium spokesman has revealed that the Hammers’ finances will be minimal next summer after committing to Todibo’s transfer for £32million.
While the Irons seemingly acknowledge any transfers like a new striker won’t come cheap, they are ready to be creative to fund summer deals.
Speaking to Hammers News (26 February), the spokesman said: “Money for transfers will be minimal as £32m is already committed to Todibo, who finally started to show how good he is on Saturday.
“We agree new strikers will be needed, and they don’t come cheap. We’ll need to juggle things and be creative to fund deals.”

Graham Potter needs to be backed at London Stadium
Graham Potter was appointed at West Ham after their shocking first half of the season.
Lopetegui showcased his ineptitude at the London Stadium and was subsequently sacked after failing to impress many, with his new signings immediately flopping.
David Sullivan arguably gave the Spanish manager too many opportunities before finally pulling the plug on his tenure at the Hammers.
Tim Steidten has left the club, but the former chief handed Lopetegui several reinforcements last summer, which are only just coming good under Potter.

FA Cup | 1 | 0 | 0 | 1 |
The Irons should show similar faith in Potter and back him in the upcoming transfer window if they can.
A number nine should be the East London outfit’s priority, considering Niclas Fullkrug’s signing hasn’t worked out.
The Germany international has struggled with multiple fitness issues since joining from Borussia Dortmund, leaving fans frustrated with his lack of impact in the current campaign.
Michail Antonio is also on the sidelines after being involved in a car accident, and it feels like the right time for the Hammers to look for the 34-year-old’s replacement.
The London Stadium faithful will hope Evan Ferguson’s loan can be extended if nothing else is feasible next summer.
