West Ham United and Chelsea meet with representatives of Palmeiras defender Luis Guilherme
West Ham have already made contact with the representatives of Palmeiras defender Luis Guilherme, according to PL Brasil.
The Brazilian outlet, which boasts Fabrizio Romano among its Twitter followers, reported on its website on Sunday (15 October) that Chelsea are another Premier League side to have been in touch with Guilherme’s camp.
Manchester United and Bayern Munich are also said to have shown an interest, but it is West Ham and London rivals Chelsea who are considered the favourites for his signature.

The report adds that interested clubs must make their proposals for Guilherme within the next month.
Exciting times
These links with a Brazilian teenager who has very little senior experience to his name may seem out of the blue, but this is becoming the norm for West Ham these days.
The Hammers now have a dedicated scouting network in Brazil, with Guilherme clearly a player they like the look of if this report is anything to go by.
The fact the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United and Bayern Munich are also showing an interest in the 17-year-old says an awful lot.
As the report states, West Ham are well positioned to snap up Guilherme, who is under contract until 2025 but should not set the club back all that much in terms of his valuation.

While signing better-known players such as Mohammed Kudus and Edson Alvarez may garner more attention, these links with players from Brazil – Yuri Alberto and Marcos Leonardo being two others in recent times – is an exciting development.
Let’s just hope that West Ham have identified a real gem in Guilherme, rather than a dud.
In other West Ham news, a Hammers regular reportedly has his heart set on leaving London Stadium next year.
