West Ham United transfer news: Bayern Munich ready major cash plus players deal to win Declan Rice battle
Bayern Munich are willing to pay £87million and offer players to West Ham United for the signature of Declan Rice this summer, according to the Daily Mail.
Sky Germany reporter Uli Kohler reported on Tuesday (30 May) that the German giants would have to look at their accounts “very closely” to sign Rice for any more than €100million (£86million).
Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool, and Chelsea have also all emerged as strong potential suitors for the 24-year-old this summer. [Daily Mail, 11 May].
The Daily Mail report said: “Bundesliga champions are willing to pay around £87million for Rice but could also offer players to meet West Ham’s valuation.
“Arsenal, for their part, are believed to have around £180m to spend this summer plus what they generate in player sales.”

The race for Rice’s services is starting to hot up, and Bayern Munich may have jumped to the front of the queue from nowhere.
Although Arsenal remains the most likely Premier League option for the Hammers captain, Sky Sports reporter Marc McAdam shared (30 May) that they might walk away from the deal due to the ever-increasing financial package.
Bayern may be sitting in a similar situation as Mikel Arteta’s side, but the offer of players could be a game-changer in this deal.
David Moyes is set to undergo yet another busy summer transfer window after the highly disappointing Premier League season, with extra additions in midfield, out wide and at full-back needed.
If the German giants could offer West Ham United £87million and throw in a European-quality player into the package, it could well tempt them to part ways with their prized asset.
Bayern Munich have shown their hand – now the baton has been handed to Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea.
