West Ham United still have their sights set on Hull City goalkeeper Ivor Pandur ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Irons had targeted the Croatian shot-stopper last summer, with reports stating concrete talks were held at the London Stadium.

A move for the Tigers’ number one came with days left of the transfer window, and in the end, a move never materialised.

At the time, the E20 outfit had only two senior goalkeepers in Alphonse Areola and Mads Hermansen, which would later be rectified by the return of Lukasz Fabianski.

Now, Pandur looks to still be a West Ham target, with the latter’s contract set to expire at the end of the season.

West Ham could face competition for the signature of Pandur this summer. The Hammers looked to sign the Croatian when Graham Potter was still in charge.

The Hull City goalkeeper has been attracting interest from Serie A with his performances in England’s second tier.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Torino have now emerged as a possible destination for the Championship goalkeeper.

However, the outlet states that “West Ham are also still interested”.

The 26-year-old has been a key figure for a Hull side that are currently placed in fifth, a promotion play-off spot in the Championship.

How much would Ivor Pandur cost West Ham?

West Ham have a decision to make over Hermansen and Areola in the upcoming months, with the Dane now number one for Nuno.

With Areola dropping to the bench, he could seek a move away in the summer, with Fabianski also set to depart. The E20 outfit will likely need another goalkeeper.

In terms of a move for Pandur, West Ham could be in a great negotiating position, with the Croatian’s contract in HU3 expiring in 2027.

Hull City will not want to risk losing out on a fee for the shot-stopper. According to Transfermarkt, the goalkeeper’s value is currently estimated at around £3million.

For a Premier League side like West Ham, that is quite a nominal fee, but much will depend on their top-flight status.

Questions would be raised about the appeal of a move to London Stadium if the Hammers are relegated. Additionally, with Hull potentially getting promoted, Pandur may look to stay at MKM Stadium.

Pandur is currently positioned sixth for goals prevented while making the second most saves per match in the second tier as well.

It is clear why he is of interest to multiple sides.
