West Ham United should make last minute move for Ben Brereton Diaz after latest scouting mission
West Ham United sent scouts to watch Blackburn Rovers’ striker Ben Brereton Diaz over the weekend and the Hammers should consider a last-minute move for the striker.
ExWHUemployee wrote on his Patreon on Tuesday 30 August that the in-demand Chile international was being watched by the Hammers in Blackburn’s 1-0 home defeat to Stoke.
It’s also understood that the Hammers also had sent scout Grant Holt to Italy to watch an unnamed Italian player over the weekend.

It does feel that a move for Brereton Diaz is perhaps a little bit unlikely at the moment, with a host of clubs chasing the 23-year-old striker.
The likes of Leeds United and Everton have been continually linked to the striker, with the Hammers very much in the periphery when it comes to Brereton Diaz.
Club website Claret and Hugh revealed on 27 July that West Ham had ruled out a move for the Blackburn Rovers man, so it’s hard to understand why the Hammers were watching him on Saturday.
Brereton Diaz would be an exciting signing and looks ready to make the jump to the Premier League.

David Moyes only has two out-and-out strikers at his disposal, with Gianluca Scamacca and Michail Antonio battling it out for the centre-forward role.
Another more versatile forward such as Brereton Diaz would be handy for Moyes, but with the arrival of Maxwel Cornet at the London Stadium, it doesn’t seem likely that this one will get off the ground in the coming days.
Cornet can operate in a striking role, with the Ivory Coast international displaying for Burnley that he is more than capable of scoring goals when playing up front.
However, if the Hammers are interested in adding another striker to their ranks, then they should seriously consider a move for the 23-year-old.
There latest scouting mission could be the start of a last-minute move
