West Ham United set to make a move for Ajax forward Mohammed Kudus – ExWHUemployee
West Ham United are set to make a move for Ajax forward Mohammed Kudus before the window closes, according to ExWHUemployee.
Writing on his Patreon account (11 August), the reliable insider reports that the club have been impressed by the Ghana forward on their trips to watch Edson Alvarez, who just signed for the club.
Kudus shone at the Qatar World Cup last year and has been linked with a £35m move to Brighton, although the deal hasn’t advanced yet on the player side which could allow West Ham to swoop in.

“We could be set to make a move for another Ajax player Mohammed Kudus,” he wrote.
“The Ghanaian stood out in matches when we were watching Alvarez and was also recommended by scouts.
“Kudus is a Ghanaian international who is an attacking midfielder/winger who is said to have great pace and an eye for a goal.”
Huge
Now this would be another statement attacking signing for West Ham, which would come at the perfect time with so much speculation around the likes of Michail Antonio and Lucas Paqueta.
Paqueta’s move to Man City looks almost inevitable at this stage, with the Brazilian’s head being turned and Kevin De Bruyne picking up a new injury in the opening game of the season.

That would leave us severely lacking when it comes to creativity in midfield, but Kudus has shown he’s also capable of playing further forward and performing well.
At around £35m he would be relatively cheap too, and the fact we have European football could be something that could tempt him along with the fact he will know Alvarez too.
There’s nothing to suggest a deal is close or even will happen, but Kudus is a Hammers target and it’s definitely one to watch before the window closes in a few weeks.
