West Ham United set £75m asking price to sell Jarrod Bowen amid Arsenal interest
West Ham have set an asking price of at least £75m for winger Jarrod Bowen amid interest from Arsenal and Chelsea, according to The Sun.
Bowen turned in a magnificent season in 2021/22 hitting a career-high 17 goals and 13 assists in 50 appearances in all competitions for the Hammers.
That earned him a maiden call-up for the England squad and has attracted interest from the Gunners and been scouted by Chelsea, and while the club have no intention of selling him this summer they have slapped a monster price on his head to ward off potential suitors.

Bowen and West Ham are set to hold talks over a new long-term contract at the London Stadium once the transfer window closes, according to ExWHUemployee earlier in the window.
The player is said to be very happy at the club and David Moyes sees him as a key member of the first-team and would be reluctant to sell him unless they received an offer that was simply too good to refuse.
Bargain
It’s very rare that a £75m transfer could be considered as a bargain, but if Bowen were to leave West Ham for that price then most Hammers fans would consider it that.
The 25-year-old has got better and better every single year and is finally getting the recognition he deserves from the media and from fans too, and could well break into the England squad for the World Cup.

Bowen has a contract that runs until 2025 at this point, so there is zero pressure to sell him and with the way that the squad has been built it would be nigh on impossible to directly replace him and his influence.
For £75m a club would be getting a left-footed right winger, who can score and assist at a top rate despite playing for a team not at the top end of the table, who still has his prime years to come.
Thankfully he’s not going anywhere, so that imaginary number means very little, but it’s interesting to see the number is high. Just not high enough.
