West Ham United refuse to give up on Matias Soule, he is ready for new transfer
West Ham United still have belief that they can seal a transfer for Juventus ace Matias Soule this summer, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
The newspaper reported in its print edition on 17 July that despite interest from clubs such as Roma and Leicester, the Hammers still believe that they can pull a move off.
It is said that Soule is also ready for the next step in his career as he already has his suitcase “in hand.”
West Ham United should make bid for Matias Soule
Julen Lopetegui is clearly on the market for new attacking talent to add to his ranks this summer.
The Spaniard has started to reinforce his team across the board and has even already added an attacker in Luis Guilherme [The Athletic, 13 June].
Both Danny Ings and Michail Antonio failed to perform last season and, with the London-based club’s track record with number nines, adding another winger to their ranks would likely be the best option.
Soule can, however, play across the front three and it’s this versatility that would be key for West Ham.

His addition would allow either himself, Mohammed Kudus, or perhaps even Jarrod Bowen to move centrally next season.
Kudus and Bowen carried David Moyes’ attack on their backs last season and with the latter now likely to stay at the club [Graeme Bailey, 9 July], the addition of Soule is a no-brainer.
The 2024/25 season has already been full of change for West Ham this season and, with plenty more expected, this could be the year that the Hammers return to European football.
