West Ham United ready to financially satisfy Chelsea for Armando Broja as pre-season decision made

West Ham are ready to swoop for Chelsea striker Armando Broja after he was told he won’t be going on Chelsea’s pre-season tour, according to Ora News.

The Albanian international spent last season on loan at Southampton and his form earned him interest from several clubs, including the Hammers who have made him their number one target.

The 20-year-old was expected to be part of the Chelsea squad to go on tour later this week, but Ora News report that Thomas Tuchel has decided not to take him and the player will instead stay in London.

Broja is unhappy at the decision and wants an answer on his future by the end of the week, according to the report.

Everton are also interested in the striker, but his preference would be to remain in London where he has grown up.

Finally, some progress on the leading target and it seems to be positive news for the Hammers.

Broja has all the abilities and qualities to really become a top player at the London Stadium, and it seems as though Chelsea have already made their minds up if they’re not taking him on tour.

It’s surprising news to say the least considering how good Broja was for Southampton last season that he won’t even get a chance to impress, but that’s ideal for West Ham.

Now it’s about agreeing a fee that makes sense for all parties and ensuring that we can pip any competition to a deal, because he would be the leading man in the attack for us.

Michail Antonio has done a great job, but Broja is a proper striker with his whole career ahead of him and having them both battling for a starting spot will only be a good thing.
