West Ham United ready quickfire Marc Pubill transfer at London Stadium
West Ham United want to sign Almeria right-back Marc Pubill in a possible quickfire move, according to AS Roma Live.
The outlet reported on 30 July that after the Hammers missed out on Noussair Mazraoui [Florian Plettenberg, 26 July], they have turned their attention to the 21-year-old.
The report also details that the Spaniard has been mentioned by Julen Lopetgui himself, with Roma also interested.
Marc Pubill would be smart transfer for West Ham United
There’s no denying that West Ham need a right-back to join the club.
The London-based outfit only has one natural right back within their ranks in Vladimir Coufal and, he can’t be expected to start every single game.
At the end of last season, it was likely expected that Ben Johnson would stay at the club but he chose to allow his contract to expire and join Premier League new boys, Ipswich [West Ham Football, 1 July].
After Johnson’s departure was made official, a plethora of names were linked with a move to the London Stadium with Mazraoui and Aaron Wan-Bissaka being the ones most mentioned.

Pubill isn’t likely a name that many fans will have heard of but after making 23 La Liga appearances last term and contributing to four goals, it shows that he is a stellar talent.
Almeria were relegated from Spain’s top flight last season so should a deal be struck, it could be on the cheaper side of things.
In other West Ham news, the Hammers are readying an official offer for a Brazilian striker.
