West Ham United now in talks over player loan exit – ExWHUEmployee
West Ham United are in discussions to loan out Luis Guilherme before the 11pm deadline, according to ExWHUEmployee.
The reliable Hammers insider reported via The West Ham Way on Monday (3 February) that the East London outfit are in talks with several clubs over a potential exit, and would entertain a permanent departure if the fee recoups the money spent on his purchase last summer.
Shakhtar Donetsk submitted a £12.5million offer for the forward, which was swiftly rejected [Fabrizio Romano], but the 15-time Ukrainian league champions have not given up hope of securing his services on Deadline Day [Graeme Bailey].
However, European sides Sporting CP, Porto and Feyenoord are in the mix as potential loan destinations, with an option or obligation to buy at the forefront of the negotiations.
Luis Guilherme looks set to leave West Ham United
Although the 18-year-old brought plenty of excitement following his summer arrival from Palmeiras, his spell in East London has not panned out as hoped.
Indeed, Guilherme has accumulated only 45 minutes across five cameo appearances in the Premier League this season.
Even in the absence of captain Jarrod Bowen, there is seemingly no space in the first team setup for the Brazilian, with Mohammed Kudus and Crysencio Summerville ahead in the pecking order.
It is time for West Ham to cut their losses on Guilherme and accept he doesn’t have the ability to stake a claim for a first-team berth.

While a permanent sale is the desired option, it is unlikely any of the listed sides interested in his signature would match the £25.5m spent to bring the forward to England.
Therefore, a temporary exit is the most likely outcome, but of course, any move will be largely dependent on the existence of a purchase clause and the amount of said clause.
Nevertheless, Guilherme is expected not to be a West Ham player past the 11pm deadline, which is a shame considering his high potential, but a necessary sacrifice with Graham Potter targeting more incomings at the London Stadium.
