West Ham United ‘much closer’ to agreement for Piotr Zielinski – ExWHUemployee
West Ham are “much closer” to an agreement with Napoli for the blockbuster transfer of Piotr Zielinski, according to a report from ExWHUemployee.
The Hammers have expressed an interest in the Poland international after Rob Newman recommended the player to David Moyes as a potential transfer target.
After initial talks saw some distance between the two parties’ valuation of the player, talks are continuing and a deal is edging closer to being done with West Ham hopeful of getting it over the line after making an improved offer.

Writing on his Patreon account, Ex said; “We are also expected to really push for another target that we broke exclusively in Piotr Zieliński of Napoli.
“We are getting much closer to an agreement for the player and they hope to get this one over the line as well. Talks will continue on him.”
Huge
West Ham want a playmaker in behind their shiny new striker Gianluca Scamacca, and Zielinski seems to be the man the club have identified as their top target.
Originally Lingard was the man for that role, but the club could be set to prosper from his decision to join Nottingham Forest instead by bringing in a technically superior player.

Zielinski is capable of playing out wide or behind the striker, and last season he provided eight goals and five assists in 42 appearances to help Napoli reach the Champions League.
Convincing him to join may prove difficult as he’d be giving up elite level football and competing for the title in Italy, but West Ham are confident and hopeful that they can get this deal over the line to successfully boost the squad.
The club are moving quickly and decisively in the market, a swift change from previous windows and something that fans can be exceedingly excited about.
