West Ham United laughed at as surprise details emerge on Everton and Beto transfer
West Ham are understood to be eyeing a move for Everton striker Beto.
Niclas Fullkrug is set to leave West Ham, leaving a huge void for Nuno Espirito Santo‘s side to fill in the winter transfer window.
West Ham have made an approach forJorgen Strand Larsen, but the Blues striker could be an alternative to the Wolves frontman.
The London Stadium side desperately need goals to keep them in the Premier League, and questions have been asked over their potential targets.

West Ham details emerge as Beto transfer eyed
West Ham were linked with Beto in the past before he signed for the Blues, and they could reignite that interest to bring him to East London.
Alex Crook revealed that the 27-year-old is one of the Hammers’ options for a new striker when the market reopens, as they try to secure survival in the top-flight, in a surprise twist.
Speaking on talkSPORT on 24 December, he said: “The other name, again not inspiring, because he never scores a goal, Beto at Everton.”
Gabby Agbonlahor is right, it would be a terrible move for West Ham
When Crook linked the Guinea-Bissau forward to the Irons, his co-host Gabby Agbonlahor reacted with shock.
The former Aston Villa star said: “Oh lord.”
He is spot on, the Toffees ace is not the kind of player that the Londoners should be targeting if they want to get out of the relegation danger that they are in.
Most supporters would likely have the same reaction if the transfer materialises, and the underperforming ace is brought in to try and keep the side in the division.
Beto has just one goal in 17 league appearances this season, which is just one more than Fullkrug, who has only played eight times.
That is not the kind of record that Nuno and Co. can afford to take a gamble on, they need someone who is prolific, and scores regularly to get them out of danger, and the Hill Dickinson Stadium star is not the answer.
If they brought Beto in, they would likely be sealing their fate and settling for relegation to the Championship, as he is unlikely to come up with enough goals to save Nuno’s side.
The striker curse would only be continued if they sign the former Udinese attacker.
