West Ham United hot favourites to beat Premier League rivals in transfer race with medical soon
West Ham United are leading the race for Luis Guilherme ahead of other Premier League sides with a medical set to be scheduled soon, according to GOAL Brazil.
The outlet have reported (4 June) that Tim Steidten is in Brazil as he looks to confirm a deal with Palmerias ahead of a potential medical.
Guilherme is said to have “drawn the attention” of teams across Europe and within the Premier League but the Hammers have been named as “big favourites”.
West Ham will pay £19.5 million and an additional £5.9m in bonuses while offering the Brazilian side a 20 per cent sell on fee for the 18-year-old.

The start to the transfer window for Steidten has left fans frustrated as various deals appear to have fallen through at the final hurdle.
Now after a near collapse, a move for Guilherme appears to be moving forward to a medical ahead of him potentially signing in the coming days.

With Endrick being the big-name departure to Real Madrid, his singing could be a great start to the Julen Lopetegui era at West Ham.
There is no guarantee that the 18-year-old is going to have a positive impact on the squad under the Spaniard instantly.
It will be a huge cultural shock for the Brazilian who may struggle to begin with and will have to be integrated slowly.
For the fee involved, Guilherme needs to be given plenty of time to adapt and he could prove to be a shrewd piece of business by Steidten.
