West Ham United: Gianluca Scamacca has doubts over PSG transfer
West Ham United have received a huge boost in their pursuit of Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca as the 23-year-old striker has “doubts” over a move to PSG according to Le10Sport.
According to Sky Sports journalist Gianluca Di Marzio (12 July), the Hammers have tabled a £33.7million offer for the Italy striker.
However, Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth revealed (via Twitter, 12 July) that PSG are interested in the striker but have failed to meet the Serie A side’s valuation.
It has been suggested by GFFN (12 July) that Scamacca had “no interest” in joining West Ham having already agreed on personal terms with PSG.
However, it has now been revealed by Le10Sport on Wednesday 13 July, that Scamacca is having doubts over a move to Paris after the Hammers’ interest emerged.
Huge news
This would huge news for West Ham fans if the Irons interest has got the 23-year-old contemplating his future.
Scamacca would be the main man at the London Stadium if he made the move to the Hammers.
If he made the switch to PSG, there is every chance he would be a bit part squad player for the French giants due to their wealth of attacking talent.
West Ham seem to be negotiating well with Sassuolo for the Italy international so any issues will come from Scamacca being unwilling to make the switch to the Premier League.

If Scamacca made the move to England’s top flight there is every chance he would continue his good goalscoring form and see his value sky-rocket due to the attention the Premier League has.
A move to PSG would be the wrong one for his career.
He would be better off making the West Ham switch and then looking to engineer a bigger move later on in his career.
This would be an enormous coup if David Moyes can pull it off.
