West Ham are still to make a formal approach to sign Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson this summer, according to the Evening Standard.

Reiss Nelson will be a quality addition to the West Ham side
Nelson’s potential move to the London Stadium could significantly bolster the club’s attacking options.
At 24 years old, he’s at the right age and he’d also offer resale value if he progresses and becomes one of the best in the league.
He would want game time and that’s something Julen Loeptegui would offer him and he could use his versatility to deploy him in multiple roles over the course of the season.
Nelson’s pace and dribbling skills would provide West Ham with a dynamic option in the final third.
He can play on either wing or even as a number 10, offering tactical flexibility and his arrival could take the pressure off Jarrod Bowen and Mohammed Kudus as well.

Moreover, Nelson’s homegrown status and familiarity with the Premier League would make his transition to the Irons smoother.
In other West Ham news, the Hammers may vary their training routines as they have made an approach to sign a £70m-rated player this summer.
