Brighton respond to Evan Ferguson transfer bid
The Seagulls have rejected an offer for West Ham target Ferguson despite being open to letting the striker leave in January [The Athletic].
Fabian Hurzeler’s side are open to letting the 20-year-old depart on a permanent basis but are yet to have been offered an acceptable bid.
This is despite interest from the Hammers among other Premier League sides as well as European outfits like Marseille.

West Ham bid £21m for Rodrigo De Paul as decision made
The Hammers have tabled a £21m bid to Atletico Madrid to acquire the services of the Argentina midfielder in the winter window [Marca].
The La Liga giants have already turned down a bid from Graham Potter’s side and are said to be eager to instead tie De Paul down to a new deal.
West Ham approach Juventus to sign Nicolo Fagioli
The Irons have made enquiries into the availability of the midfielder with the Italian said to be ready to leave Juventus [Tutto Mercato].
An approach has been made for the 23-year-old with a “strong possibility” that he could leave Turin before the end of the January transfer window.
The Old Lady are keen to offload him permanently but the only offers received have been initial loan deals.
Giacomo Raspadori move made as Napoli transfer stance emerges
An approach has been made from East London to the Serie A outfit who are unwilling to negotiate for the striker as things stand [Gianluca Di Marzio].
The Irons are prepared to make their interest known in the Italian during the final week of the winter window after Potter named a new centre-forward high on the list of his transfer priorities.
