West Ham transfer round-up: Hammers chase defender, late Ings interest
West Ham United have had an interesting transfer window during the winter, as the 11pm deadline fast approaches.
While it has not been as much of a rollercoaster as the summer spree at the London Stadium, the Irons have managed to secure Evan Ferguson on loan from Brighton to reunite with Graham Potter.
James Ward-Prowse has returned from his loan at Nottingham Forest, with Maxwel Cornet recalled from his spell at Southampton and instead sent to Genoa.

West Ham chasing last-gasp defender deal
Graham Potter and the Hammers hierarchy have not given up on signing another centre-half, according to Sean Whetstone (3 February).
The East Londoners had conceded 44 goals in the Premier League this season heading into Monday’s visit to Chelsea (3 February) and wanted extra cover with injuries also heavily affecting Potter’s selection.
The transfer market continues to be scoured in its last knockings to try and find a defender.
Celtic want Ings despite Chelsea squad news
Celtic were interested in an 11th-hour swoop to sign Danny Ings from the London Stadium despite his appearance in the matchday squad at Chelsea, according to The Sun (3 February).
In what appears to be very much a non-starter, the Scottish champions had been suggested to exhibit an interest in the 32-year-old, who for several weeks was Potter’s only senior fit striker by trade.
Ings was named on the bench for the Premier League contest at Stamford Bridge, and looks likely to remain in the East End.

West Ham striker agrees last-gasp exit from club
West Ham have sanctioned the loan departure of Brad Dolaghan from the London Stadium for the rest of the season, ExWHUemployee reports (via the West Ham Way, 3 February).
Dolaghan, 20, has since joined Aldershot Town on a loan deal until the summer to gain senior experience elsewhere, having regularly played for the Hammers’ youth sides.
The striker will aim to return and knock on the first-team door after his hopeful stint of games in the National League.
Luis Guilherme future still uncertain
Luis Guilherme could still leave the club in the final hours of the window, reports Portuguese outlet O Jogo (3 February).
The teenager has been the subject of a late approach from Porto, having barely featured in the Premier League this season for Potter’s side after his £25million summer arrival.
The Irons could seek a sale for Guilherme as a quick means to recoup some funds on Deadline Day, with the winger having previously been offered to Saudi Pro League clubs – for whom the deadline has now already passed.
