West Ham to sanction Premier League move for Niclas Fullkrug as transfer shortlist drawn up
Niclas Fullkrug could be set to stay in the Premier League as he pushes for a move away from West Ham this winter.
The German has had a nightmare run of injuries since his move to the London Stadium in the summer of 2024, and he is now looking for an escape route in January.
Fullkrug wants to move away from West Ham in the upcoming transfer window, with the striker keen to make a late attempt to push for Germany’s World Cup squad next summer.
The 32-year-old has been unavailable for Nuno Espirito Santo through injury in recent weeks, and he may have just found the perfect route away from E20 in the coming months.

Wolves and Fulham want to take Niclas Fullkrug from West Ham
Fullkrug could even leave West Ham on loan in January, with his former club Werder Bremen trying to free up available loan slots to try and take the frontman back.
All possibilities seem open for the ex-Borussia Dortmund star at the moment, and it now looks as though he could even be set to stay in the Premier League after his Hammers departure.
Wolves and Fulham have both expressed an interest in signing the veteran this winter, according to SportsBoom.
Fullkrug made the switch to East London for an eye-catching £27million less than 18 months ago, but his club are now in a position where they are understood to be happy to sell him for a cut-price fee.
The pair of Premier League rivals are circling around the striker, and Wolves are even believed to have already placed him on their shortlist of potential options for the window.

However, the possibility of them launching a concrete approach for the German is likely to hinge on the feelings of their new manager once an appointment is confirmed.
Premier League move would alleviate Niclas Fullkrug wage issue
Fullkrug’s wages are a key issue for West Ham as they try and find a suitor for him this winter.
The wantaway star is believed to command a weekly wage of £100,000 in E20, which is likely to present a major stumbling block for the likes of Werder Bremen, and any other interested parties in his home country.
However, the interest from elsewhere in the Premier League could be the perfect way for the Hammers to find a way around that barrier, as both Wolves and Fulham would surely be capable of fronting such a demand.
Normally, there would be serious concerns about a former star coming back to haunt his old team in these kinds of situations, but given Fullkrug’s form since his arrival, that will surely be of little concern to Nuno and Co.
