According to the Daily Mail (25 July), the Reds value the 22-year-old at £50million for a permanent sale.
That valuation is not something West Ham can or are looking to pursue this summer.
However, they still want to sign him and are in talks with Liverpool over a loan with an option to buy.
Potter is keen on bringing the talented attacking midfielder to the London Stadium this summer and the Irons are doing what they can to make that happen.
