View: West Ham should demand £70m minimum for Jarrod Bowen transfer negotiations
West Ham should be setting the negotiations for Jarrod Bowen at a minimum of £70m after interest emerged from Premier League rivals.
Bowen has been in sensational form for the Hammers this season, scoring 14 goals and registering nine assists in all competitions including two in his last two games.
That has attracted major interest from Newcastle United [90min] and the Hammers should respond by placing a hefty price tag of at least £70m on his head.

According to Claret and Hugh last year, the Hammers have no intention of selling Bowen this summer and and any deal would have cost in excess of £70m.
Bowen’s current contract at the London Stadium runs until 2025 and as a homegrown player in good form, his value is only likely to go up in the future with Jurgen Klopp describing him as ‘unbelievable‘.
The last thing the Hammers want to do after building a squad capable of competing in Europe right now, is see it picked apart and they have to start again.
Declan Rice has been heavily linked with an exit and seems likely to leave at some point, but players like Bowen are essential to keeping the club challenging against the big boys.

Signed for just £20m, he has gone from strength to strength since signing for the club from Hull and is now one of the first names on the team sheet for David Moyes.
A fee of £70m minimum would go a long way to allowing the club to find a suitable replacement should he leave, but there is simply no reason for that to happen now.
He has ages to go on his contract, is in the form of his life and West Ham are in a position to compete with everyone that isn’t Man City, Liverpool or Chelsea right now.
