West Ham schedule another medical as blockbuster terms agreed late on New Year’s Day
West Ham look to be close on two incomings as they schedule another medical.
Gil Vicente striker Pablo underwent a medical on Thursday after West Ham agreed a deal, according to a report from Sky Sports.
The Hammers are understood to be trying to register the 21-year-old in time for their Premier League clash with Wolves on Saturday.
However, he may not be the only forward signing for Nuno Espirito Santo‘s side in the coming days.
Taty Castellanos scheduled for West Ham medical
After sealing the deal for Pablo, West Ham have switched their attention to Taty Castellanos in a blockbuster New Year’s Day.
Sky Sports Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg claimed on 1 January that the Irons have agreed a £25.3million plus add-ons deal to sign the Lazio attacker.
He stated that a medical is scheduled, with a long-term contract on the table for the 27-year-old at the London Stadium.

Can Pablo and Castellanos fire the Hammers to safety?
It is certainly encouraging that the Hammers have acted quickly to secure two forwards, as their need for goals is well-documented.
The E20 outfit are the sixth-lowest scorers in the Premier League, with 21 goals this season, and they sit 18th in the table, four points from safety.
Pablo is more of a gamble at just 21, but he has 10 goals in 13 appearances in Liga Portugal so far this season.
Meanwhile, Castellanos has two goals and three assists in 11 Serie A matches this campaign, but he did manage 10 strikes in the division last season.
A move may be just what he needs, as the change in scenery, perhaps, is enough to find his goalscoring touch again, after a bit of a barren spell.
The duo together may be enough to keep the Irons in the top-flight, and bridge the gap to Nottingham Forest, but only time will tell.
It will surely appease a fanbase that has been crying out for quality additions for a significant period of time, but ultimately, how they perform on the pitch is what truly matters.
David Sullivan and Co are showing that they care, by getting the chequebook out, but it may well prove to be too late.
