West Ham midfielder Nikola Vlasic is keen to leave ‘dead-end situation’ amid Torino links
Nikola Vlasic is keen to leave West Ham and has expressed this desire in a passionate rant to management at the club, according to Tuttosport.
The Italian news outlet reported online (28 July) that the attacking midfielder is desperate to return to Torino, where he spent last season on loan, scoring five goals and providing six assists in 34 Serie A matches.
And the 25-year-old Croatian has expressed his frustrations in a passionate rant aimed at the management of the East London club.

“I’m fed up with this dead-end situation. We all know, you first, that I’m not considered an important player here, I’m just one of many in the reserve group,” Vlasic told David Moyes, as reported by Tuttosport.
“This cannot be the solution. I’ve been telling you for two months that I want to play for Turin, that I no longer want to stay in West Ham under these conditions, on the sidelines, and also that my own family never wants to go back to live in England.”
West Ham were reportedly after a fee of around £11million, with Torino having offered £7.5million, although it is no longer clear what fee the Hammers are after with Vlasic fearful Torino will walk away from the difficult negotiations.
Sell
With the player expressing his desire to leave in such an angry way, the club should really respect his wishes and negotiate with Torino over his sale.
It does Moyes no good to have an unsettled player in his squad who clearly wants to move on and that negative energy could have a detrimental effect on the rest of the team.

Vlasic has spent the past two seasons as a West Ham player, being loaned out to Torino during the previous campaign. In his debut season, he scored one goal in 19 Premier League appearances as he struggled to adapt to life in England.
West Ham are not in any desperate need of funds after selling Declan Rice for £100million earlier in this window and therefore will not feel they have to sell Vlasic for below their asking price.
But after the player’s outburst, it might be best to move him on and reinvest the funds.
In other West Ham news, another pair of transfers at the club seem to have hit a stumbling block.
