West Ham make approach to seal £30m Sudakov transfer, Kudus cash ready to go
West Ham are pushing to sign Georgiy Sudakov from Shakhtar Donetsk.
Sudakov, 22, has been a long-term target for the Hammers, with first reports of their interest in the Ukrainian wonderkid trailing back to 2023.
Graham Potter is looking to strengthen his squad ahead of his first full season in charge, with pressure mounting after a poor end to last season.
The Hammers have the money to spend on reinforcements after the £55million departure of Mohammed Kudus to bitter rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

Sudakov keen on Premier League move
A move to England has intrigued Sudakov, having played his entire career so far in his war-torn homeland.
Alan Nixon has reported via Patreon that West Ham have been in contact with middle men over the weekend to agree a fee for the 22-year-old.
The East London side are attempting to get a “real” price for Sudakov, and are willing to pay around £30m for his services.
Kudus’ sale has given West Ham enough funds for recruitment, and an attacking midfielder is among their top priorities to replace the Ghanaian.

Sudakov can develop into a key piece for West Ham
The Hammers are in desperate need for attacking talent, with Kudus out of the door and Jarrod Bowen being the only player to score double digits in the Premier League last campaign.
Sudakov can evolve into that, but he isn’t ready just yet.
Competition | Appearances | Goals | Assists |
Premier Liga | 25 | 13 | 4 |
UEFA Champions League | 8 | 2 | 1 |
Ukrainian Cup | 4 | 0 | 1 |
The Ukrainian only broken out into a young star last season, and asking a player leaving his country for the first time to take up a major attacking mantle is not good for his development.
A year of easing Sudakov in would be the best way to get the best out of him, no matter the fee.
