West Ham-linked Rocco Reitz ‘open to move’ as £25.7m transfer consideration made
West Ham are showing an interest in Rocco Reitz at Borussia Mönchengladbach.
There has been no shortage of transfer links in East London this summer already as Graham Potter takes charge of his first window in E20.
The most recent name to be linked is that of the 23-year-old who could be set for a move away from the Bundesliga in the coming weeks.
This appears to have piqued the interest of the Hammers, who could soon make a swoop at Borussia Park in hopes of landing the midfielder.

West Ham Reitz offer to be considered
Moving closer to the opening day of the Premier League, the Irons are in desperate need of reinforcements in the centre of the park.
There is a general lack of energy in the engine room at the London Stadium as things stand, and that needs to change.
This is especially the case with Carlos Soler returning to PSG, while Tomas Soucek continues to be linked with an exit from the capital.
As a result, an approach for a young, industrious midfield option could prove to be a wise move, especially if he is open to a move.
Stat (Bundesliga 24/25) | Rocco Reitz |
Appearances | 27 |
Successful passes | 675 |
Successful dribbles | 17 |
Duels won | 125 |
This could be a prospect for the 23-year-old after German outlet Rheinische Post (2 July, page C5), said that he should “never say never” as Gladbach could soon give in if a big offer is made.
As a result, the Bundesliga outfit could consider a fee in the region of £21.4million to £25.7m if West Ham were to make an offer for Reitz.
The Hammers will now face competition from the likes of Fulham, Brighton, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig to land the midfielder as the window goes on.

West Ham must convince Reitz of move
It is fair to say that as things stand, the claret and blue outfit aren’t the most attractive prospect after such a frustrating season.
This has already seen West Ham miss out on Angel Gomes as their search to land a new midfield option continues deeper into the summer.
As a result, Potter has to work hard if he wants Reitz to convince him of the project and what a move to the London Stadium could do for his career.
